All the money you raised went to the project. We are eight men who are Trauma medics or First Aid trainers who want to help the people in Nepal and we decided the best gift you could give is to rebuild a school that had been destroyed by the earthquake earlier this year.
On 14 November, 2015, a team of volunteers travelled to Nepal to rebuild a Primary School which was destroyed by the earthquakes, in April of that year. The purpose of the book is twofold: To document the process of Earthbag Building so that anyone wishing to undertake a project like this has a step- by- step guide of how to achieve it successfully. Secondly, to document our incredible journey and to share our appreciation of the plight of Nepal following the devastating earthquakes. 100% of funds raised from the proceeds of this book will be returned to Nepal to continue building.
We bought books, pencils, text books, and much more. We put to gether a trauma and first aid bag for a nurse who was fully qualified and had nothing.
We built the classrooms and taught the loicals. We paid all of them and they in turn passed on those skills in their villages.
