QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
First aiders are an integral part of workplace safety. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.

EFAW Intended Audience.
The QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
EFAW Course Overview
During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, shock, wounds and bleeding and minor injuries. EFAW Assessment methods & certification.
4 x Practical assessments and 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).Successful learners will receive a personalised QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) e-Certificate immediately after their results have been submitted, subject to a Centre’s Direct Claims Status and any required actions.

Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF)
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills needed to deal with emergency first aid situations in a forestry/agricultural context.
+F Intended Audience.
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Forestry First Aid +F (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work (or intend to work) in a forestry, agricultural or remote environment, such as tree surgeons and farmers.
+F Course Overview
This short, yet informative course provides learners with the knowledge and practical competencies needed for the treatment of injuries and diseases that could occur whilst working in a forestry/agricultural specific environment. Topics covered are: extreme hot and cold temperatures, managing catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries and Lyme disease.
This qualification is designed to accompany a regulated First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualification and has been specifically developed to meet the recommendations of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.
